comments

The fruit for this wine was selected from low cropping vineyards in the Wairau Valley. The fruit was brought to the winery where it was quickly de-stemmed and chilled. During fermentation in stainless steel open top tanks, the fruit was hand plunged up to six times a day before pressing and maturation in a mix of new and used French oak. The wine was then blended, stabilised, fined and prepared for bottling.
